I've finished my Thinking embroidery piece (pattern by Aimee Ray of "little dear" etsy shop)!
It will be the focal point of a small wall-quilt/wall-hanging, which I have not yet begun. Except in my mind. In my mind, it's a beautifully finished piece. So at least there's that.
Also, I don't know if I've ever mentioned this here before, but, right next to my love of the fiber arts and all things crafty, I also love to sing. Currently I'm singing with our church band. I've been considering finding someone to write music for me so that I can record original stuff, but for now it's all covers, because I can't write to save my life. All of this to say, I've had Greg start taking video of some songs that I've done recently so that I can critique them, and I thought it would be fun to share it with all of you. I've added a "music" playlist to my YouTube channel so that the videos are easier to navigate.
Here's my favorite:
Now back to work on my Ribbed Lace Bolero... (just the sewn cast-off left!)

Those are some rockin' church songs. Cool!
I love love LOVE the Thinking embroidery.
The embroidery is beautiful! Thanks for getting the info about the designer to me, I ordered and received the pattern today. Funny, I have Aimee's books - no wonder I was so attracted to this pattern.
XO
loved the video - there's nothing like singing/playing for the worship band in church.
I enjoyed your singing. Thank you for sharing!
